Preventing preconditioning for fast charging

Is there any way to put a charger stop in to the nav without having the car preheat the battery?

Sometimes I put multi day trips in to the nav as a way of getting better estimates on charge - quite important if you’re going to use camp mode (for example) and burn a lot of power overnight then have to drive to your next stop next day - but if one of those stops is a charger it causes the car to start heating the battery immediately, when I know I won’t be charging for hours yet.

Can you turn off pre-heating? I’ve tried dismissing the box that informs you it’s happening but based on the sounds from the car I don’t think that stops the process, just removes the notification.

The work around is to plot a route near to the charger but not to the charger, but it’s a bit clumsy.

You can enabled any heatinh durinh charging only in service mode which you dont want to drive around in as lots of driving aids are disabled.

Or the destination workaround you mentioned but then you risk the slower charge without the preheat.
