problems in the European delivery hell

I don’t even know where to start venting off my frustration
- Day one reservation holder
- Ordered 5 minutes after becoming available
- a lot of people are getting their model 3 in Portugal
- I don’t have a VIN, a Date, or any type of communication from tesla.
- all my process is approved

I’m out of ideas. It’s just very sad the way a 1st day reservation holder is being treated
If it's of any consolation, there were thousands of US reservation holders who went through the same frustration. Hang in there!

I was one of those... Long wait, confusing communication, confusing calls from different Tesla staff. Finally one morning I got a call that my car was on the truck about 200 miles away and it will be ready by the end of the day. I did not believe it, but still showed up. And here it was, in the delivery bay. They told me I had a full 15 minutes with my delivery specialist before they kick me out the door. Took about 10 minutes to soft out the payment, so I had 5 minutes left to figure out how to back the car out and drive away. Great car, I have about 7k miles on it now after 4 months of ownership.

I now have a confirmed delivery date: March 15. They said they would get the car on March 13. So two days to get everything ready.
Confirmed by the Tesla person on the phone and also in writing in my Tesla account.
So I hope it will work out like that without rescheduling. Have already contacted my wrapping guy for j-i-t handover.

Exited, to say the least. 16 days to go, and counting... ;)

Whoop whoop got a text message today!! We can pick up our car this Saturday in Hoeri, Switzerland :D:D:D

It‘s been so long ... i am totally exhausted from all the excitement of reloading all the forums, my tesla account, twitter and all else looking for updates

I will kiss my car every morning, this is how grateful i am to finally be part of the Tesla family :)

Do you know whether we have to get l number plates ourselves or whether Tesla organizes for us? I don’t have a car yet so am unfamiliar with the process.

You have to get them yourself. You will receive a text message (SMS) by Tesla with your delivery date.

The very next day you should receive the form 13.20A by post. This form contains your Stammnummer.

With the Stammnummer you can now get your car insured over the internet. When that is done you have to go to the Strassenverkehrsamt to pick up your number plates... all this within 2 days :eek::D:D

I never received an SMS or the 13.20A so I called Tesla yesterday. They said they’re organizing everything for me. Now the question is how do we get the FSD for free...

Just received an SMS from Tesla saying they have upgraded my Autopilot system (to that which was ordered, ACC plus lane keeping....) I guess that just means they have sent an SMS to everyone in Switzerland to say that the EAP is now active? I don't even have the car yet :)
