PSA re: Badges - Make sure to check alignment!

I was at a supercharger earlier today and saw a bunch of 3s charging. Since they were all side by side, it was very easy to see that some of the “Dual Motor” badges were crooked. Make sure to check your badges if/when you get them installed!

Some were given the badges after delivery and put them on themselves.

The mobile tech had a special template to use to put the badge on. It's a foam template that they line up with the body work on the trunk that makes sure the badge is on straight.

The only way to screw that up is to not be able to line a foam block up against the curve in the bodywork.

Some of the mobile techs don't have the "jig" and have to install it a different way. Hopefully ours will be installed correctly the first time.

Mobile techs aren't supposed to install ANY badge without a template. If they arrive with no template, reschedule .

If they're seeing the rear badge then doesn't that mean you've already blown past them...

but if they can see it as they're pulling up to you at a light, they'll know to leave you alone if they know what the badging means.

Even without the badge people still challenge me in little Toyotas or Hondas that sound like lawn mowers.
