Purchase or Lease ?

Near ordering a new model S for $90K. Having a hard time deciding between purchase or 24 month lease option. Not sure how long I'll keep the car (may want to "upgrade" to new model after a couple years).

Am I calculating this correctly? Looks like I save $800 by leasing?

Depends on your states taxes. Good lease bad finance.

Even without the 7500 fed write off this seems like lease is a better deal.

In California, no state rebate in sight.

GA state credit expired a while ago. With only fed rebate it was a $18,500 upfront cash swing to finance over lease.
