Hi all. I have a section of rubber between roof glass and trunk glass which bends inward rather than forming a seal. What’s the purpose of this rubber lining? Going to have Tesla look at it since car is a few days old.

My guess it is there for ice build up. If ice forms in the gap between the back end of the glass roof and the top of the glass trunk, the rubber gives a bit when you open the trunk.
My family has not reported extra wind whistle when riding in the rear while on freeway or city roads perhaps the position of the defect is an explanation.
