We are new to Tesla and the model S and just bought a P85 private party that is under CPO warranty. One thing we noticed after getting it is the passenger seat has a problem with the lift mechanism and it binds and "falls" a bit when adjusting height.
Questions:
1) My understanding from some searches is Tesla just replaces the whole seat, right?
2) Our seats are tan with suede and I'm concerned if they just replace the passenger seat that the drivers seat will look really old in comparison and it will be a problem upon resale. Is it reasonable to ask them if they are to replace one seat to replace both for this reason? Anyone have success doing so?
Thanks for your feedback. not trying to be greedy, but really don't want the seats to be mismatched or have the driver's seat look overly old.
