Just joined the site today and was looking for an update on your rattling. I had both my sun visors replaced and still have the rattling.i had both mine replaced due to the rattling.
Good morning, I heard about your great idea from the Ranger last week. Looking to do the same for mine. Thanks for the idea!Yep , Mine also were rattling ..My 100D car is 3 weeks old ..I had a 90D that did not have this issue ..The magnets are loose in both visors .
I temporarily fixed it by affixing a small dot of material to the headliner behind the visor exactly at the spot the magnet extrudes .
We had a bunch of these around , left over from a pack . They are used for putting under furniture legs so they slide and don't scratch the floor ..But any padding will do as long as it contacts the magnet when it's out (connected ) ...To be clear , stick this pad to the pillar behind the magnet ...Not on the visor ..I called Tesla SC and they ordered 2 repacement visors for me ...
^ Just had my left one replaced.i had both mine replaced due to the rattling.
After a couple of days, the "updated" visor is rattling again. Taking it back again to address this. The dealer replaced my drivers' side visor with a "updated" visor under warranty.
