Rattling noise from sun visor?

After a month of owning the MX, I'm hearing rattling noises from both sun visors. Its not too bad until the road gets bumpy. Anyone having this issue?

No first hand experience, but it was mentioned in a detailed online review I read - link below (go to 39:50 for comment on rattling sun visors and he mentions it again later). So probably a design issue rather than a specific fault on your car.

Yep , Mine also were rattling ..My 100D car is 3 weeks old ..I had a 90D that did not have this issue ..The magnets are loose in both visors .
I temporarily fixed it by affixing a small dot of material to the headliner behind the visor exactly at the spot the magnet extrudes .
We had a bunch of these around , left over from a pack . They are used for putting under furniture legs so they slide and don't scratch the floor ..But any padding will do as long as it contacts the magnet when it's out (connected ) ...To be clear , stick this pad to the pillar behind the magnet ...Not on the visor ..I called Tesla SC and they ordered 2 repacement visors for me ...

Had mine replaced early on. They only rattled while stowed, which is most of the time. No problems after replacement; probably 30k miles or more since then.

I also have the rattle....so Im headed to the hobby shop and going to pick up some sticky backed felt, thinking a small disc of felt on the magnetic tip will stop the problem. Seems that a simple touch of the hand usually stops the rattle, but I think my solution may keep it from coming back. We will see.

Just joined the site today and was looking for an update on your rattling. I had both my sun visors replaced and still have the rattling.

Mine does this once in a while but I found a fix (at least for now). When you go to put them away rotate the visor further towards the headliner then snap it in place. that extra contact stopped the rattle and has been good since I figured this trick out and didn't require a SC visit.

Mine don't rattle but since they replaced my windshield, they hit the glass when you bend them vertical. This was causing the magnet to pop out of the holder on the rear view mirror. They replaced the visors with "new" ones and while they don't pop out anymore, they still rub the glass.

i had both mine replaced due to the rattling.

mine do this as well. The dealer ordered two new ones for me and they're waiting for me to make an appointment

Since they use a magnet to hold it in place, it wobbles a bit. If it's bothering me on bumpy roads, I just pop it out of the fixed magnetic position (1cm) and the rattle is gone. Problem solved.

Use small furniture felt on the magnet end, all rattling will be dampened and gone.

Or have them replaced under warranty.
I got my new ones last week and the rattling is gone.
We shouldn’t “fix” issues on a 100k+ car, the manufacturer is responsible for those fixes...

The dealer replaced my drivers' side visor with a "updated" visor under warranty.

I also have a small rattling. To much play between the parts. But not so bad to replace it.

I’ve noted a buzzing noise coming from the driver side A-pillar on not-smooth roads. I hit the A-pillar trim a few times with my fist, and the noise has stopped.

The dealer replaced my drivers' side visor with a "updated" visor under warranty.

After a couple of days, the "updated" visor is rattling again. Taking it back again to address this.
