I didn't get that message, just a VIN yesterday. My delivery date has moved forward now too!I have not even gotten the text or email asking about my trade in. Rumor has it that happens about 2 weeks before your VIN.

What was your EDD before you got your VIN.I didn't get that message, just a VIN yesterday. My delivery date has moved forward now too!
Got that text 11/13 and still waiting for a VIN, it might just be coincidentalI have not even gotten the text or email asking about my trade in. Rumor has it that happens about 2 weeks before your VIN.
It was 17 - 27, now it's 17 - 23What was your EDD before you got your VIN.
Oh cool, I am still stuck for Jan. I refresh the page like a billion times a dayIt was 17 - 27, now it's 17 - 23
Ugh, I hear you. I'm also putting a lot of mileage on the ole F5 key of late.Oh cool, I am still stuck for Jan. I refresh the page like a billion times a day
Likewise...why am I still stuck in Jan? I wonder if Tesla keeps a certain number of people's EDD pushed out so they are more likely to accept a show room or test drive car. My SA has asked me a couple times if I would like one.Oh cool, I am still stuck for Jan. I refresh the page like a billion times a day
I really think regardless of location, both MY and X should all get PPF in that rear quarter panel, rocks definitely chew it up over time.My understanding is only certain regions (SNOW OMG) get the mud flaps and PPF. My CA Bay Area delivery MYP did not.
I mean I didn't treat the demo I used for my test drive exceptionally bad but I'm betting there are people that do... depends on how often they cycle 'em out.I bet those test cars are beat to #%@#%@#%
It may be region specific but I know LR’s in my area (Portland) did come with mud flaps in the recent past but my MYP did not so not sure if there was a change, or maybe just supply. My understanding is only certain regions (SNOW OMG) get the mud flaps and PPF. My CA Bay Area delivery MYP did not.
When I test drove, the SA who was parking it back in their super tiny lot bumped into one of their traffic signs. Not a hard hit, but yeah, told me a lot about the general car given for test vehicles...I bet those test cars are beat to #%@#%@#%
Yup. It is in articles on the web which state certain regions get flaps and or rear PPF. Despite what people say, California has pretty good roads compared to most of USA.My understanding is only certain regions (SNOW OMG) get the mud flaps and PPF. My CA Bay Area delivery MYP did not.
I'm in the same boat as you, and haven't seen any definitive answer to this question. Some folks say you stay at the front of the line, some say you're bumped to the back. Also in LA, ordered 11/10 (MSM, white, no tow, no FSD) and have had my window of Dec. 19-31 for weeks now. No VIN yet - also hoping I luck into a 3-day window that creeps into 2022.I'm planning on holding off getting my MYP until 2022, as there is strong speculation of a new Tax credit of $7,500, for Electric Vehicles purchased in 2022. For a possible tax credit of over $7,000, I figure I can hold off a couple of weeks.
Anyone know how long you typically have to wait, if you don't pick up your Model Y within 72 hours, after the initial notice?
I ordered Blue/White with tow hitch, so I'm a little worried that it'll take a while until someone cancels a Model Y with that particular spec.
Anyone have any experience passing on the first vehicle that Tesla says is available for you?
My due date is Dec. 13-31, so if I get really lucky, they'll tell me it's available Dec. 30 or 31.
I was the same, in the end it was a text message from Tesla that told me I had it. No need to refresh - it automatically texts you when it's assigned.Oh cool, I am still stuck for Jan. I refresh the page like a billion times a day
Now I am going to be watching my phone like a hawk. I actually gave Tesla my burner number so ill have to keep an eye on that phone.I was the same, in the end it was a text message from Tesla that told me I had it. No need to refresh - it automatically texts you when it's assigned.
