Yes. If you request a ‘not before date’. That’s why I got one anyway.

A few days after OD: 12/20-12/31

1/3-1/31 (randomly can’t remember when)

12/22-12/31 (then got December delivery text on 12/16 responded “delay”, then “December”, they put me on hold till 1/5)

3/21-4/18 (yikes changed 12/18)

Sold my Model X

12/22-12/31 (changed 12/20)

12/25-12/31 (changed 12/22)

12/28-12/31 (changed 12/26)

12/31-1/11 (changed 12/29)

VIN assigned “338” 12/30 and delivery 12/31-1/8

Auto assigned home delivery for 12/31 4-8pm

I hear ya, its dissappointing to pay for the performance upgrades and then they go and do that…. Im supposed to pick up mine at Burbank but all the recent news is definatley a bummer.

@Pastalover - Sorry to hear about your disappointment. It does appear that Tesla is making one big push to deliver as many vehicles as they can before end of quarter. As such, vehicles seem to be manufactured in haste to be delivered to the local delivery center while rushing buyers to take delivery within a day's notice.

The HP shouldn't change, only max speed limiter until they install the spoiler.

Update, a batch of vehicles bound for Portland were reassigned this week due to the crappy snowy weather on some of the roads. The manager in Portland says my car is set to build on 1/12, but they are trying to assign VINS to those who were recently unmatched.

Yup. The EDD fluctuations are laughable. Do not make plans based on anything except a confirmed VIN w scheduled delivery date, which likely will come on or before the last week of the quarter.

Don't worry, the spoilers fall off doing 30mph if you have tesla install them. Better off installing it yourself when they become available.

We still need Tesla to program new max speed limiter after installing the spoiler... I don't know where I could drive above 135mph but still nice to have.

Terrible news. I was planning on taking delivery tomorrow between 12-4 and immediately jumping on the freeway and going too speed. Now I’ll need to wait a while

So to put things in bit of perspective, the Tesla center where I was supposed to take delivery of my car in the next few weeks burned to the ground today (in Superior, CO) ... so I'm not exactly sure what happens to my delivery now...

Oh man!! Since your delivery is weeks out, your car is fine. I am sure they will figure out a way to get it delivered to you.
