2018 P3 on FSD Beta & 2022 X Plaid FSD
I’m amazed that so many people here still think the EDD means anything at all! They’ve been bouncing all over the place for about a year now. If you don’t have a VIN, it definitely means nothing. Having an upcoming EDD does not mean you’re going to get a VIN any time soon. And even if you do have a VIN, it means almost nothing. Today is the 4th time they’ve pushed back my EDD since getting a VIN, and I highly doubt I’ll see the X any time this month.
If you are getting a plaid, maybe you have s chance, since Tesla clearly does not give a damn about anyone with an LR, regardless of order date or how much money you’ve spent with them in the past. If you have a 5 or 7 seat LR, well, sucks to be you. I’d be surprised if they’re delivered any time in 2022.

anybody know the price of the Plaid before the increase? Did it increase a total of 15k like with the LR or what?
No base increase per se. Only price you have to pay for is the 6 seat config ($6500) since they eliminated the 5/7 seat option.
Base price increased $6500 because the 5 seat option is no longer offered with previous base. There is no difference in pricing if you were ordering a 6 seater all along before or after the base price increase.
then hyenas be like "for chrissake this seat is so freakin hard can't Tesla make a premium seat for a 100k + car??"

I have no doubts there may be a foam shortage, but the shortage does not apply to Tesla. Tesla delivered 936,000 cars in 2021, a record breaking year for the company.

363 days after placing the order we finally have a VIN! (Even a 2022 build)
LR black exterior cream interior 6 seat with 20s. App is showing Feb 7-11 but I called the KC delivery center to ask about delivery. Customer service showed vehicle arriving the 18th.

Is it a six seater and a plaid? If so maybe yes. If it’s an LR and not six seats, guessing more like this summer assuming they ever start making any 5/7 seaters.
There are people with 2020 orders of LR without deliveries still so you are way back in the line if you have an LR order.
