Folks - Any EDD changes for 7 seaters? Mine has been stuck in July for past several weeks which is making me wonder if Tesla is going to remove 7 seat config as an option completely
Nothing official. There have been some reports of 5-seaters getting more accurate delivery dates, but for now, I'm viewing these as "unconfirmed reports".

Unfortunately, a greater accuracy in the delivery dates doesn't imply that they are now more meaningful:

They even called me with apologies for the long wait, and promissed a car in January... Never believe what thay say!

Question about financing since this is my first Tesla.
So I got the loan approved, got insurance taken care of etc, etc.. the only thing left is to make my down payment. I see that in the app I can pay by adding a bank account which is what I plan to do….. however I am not going to do that until I get to the SC and physically inspect the car… so my question is

In the app when you make the payment with your bank account does it transfer instantly? So can I make the payment the day of and finalize the purchase

I was told by my SA that you can do it at delivery but I won't know until Monday when I pick mine up if that's actually true...

I would like to get everyone's opinion and past experiences with Tesla deliveries, specific to small paint issues.

Specifically for me, my scheduled delivery is Sunday. My MX arrived last night. I went by to take a look this afternoon. Vehicle looks fabulous. I will get a better look once it's cleaned up, but door and panel alignment looks really good. Paint looks good with one exception.

The only issue I found was a paint chip above taillight on the corner where the trunk closes. Pic attached.

I visited with the delivery team and raised it as an issue. It was obviously identified previously during the QC process as it is circled with a white marker and has an arrow pointing to it.

I told them that I wanted the paint chip fixed prior to delivery and even suggested that they push out delivery if needed.

What is everyone's experience with getting Tesla to fix small paint issues prior to delivery?
I would not take possession of any new vehicle, let alone a $100K+ vehicle, until it is 100% the way you want it. Give them incentive to fix it quickly.

@dbchilly ~ did you ever take delivery? really interested in your experience. Not a lot of us in The Land.
Yes. I took delivery on Tuesday. I had been in Florida and came back to take delivery and then headed back to Florida (I had always planned to be away for the Month of March. I never expected to have to wait over a year and I spend most of March in Florida every year). I picked up the car on Tuesday of this week. The SA at the Lyndhurst store was super busy as he was the only guy in the showroom and I was left to my own devices to figure things out. I spent about an hour going over the car and setting up my Blue Tooth, my driving profiles and my phone key etc. I'm no high tech guru, but I was able to figure most of it out on my own, but every now and then I would scamper back into the showroom to get some help and advice from anyone I could find. I could only find one key FOB, but by the time I was ready to leave the dealership a nice young lady ran out and gave me another one (they found it!). The car was perfectly clean (I would hope so) on the inside. The car could have been detailed a bit better on the outside, but I wasn't worried about it (you will see why as I continue). The car had 20 miles on it. All of the doors and everything worked fine, no rubbing or any other issues that I've read about here gave me any causes for concern. The FWD will need a bit of adjustment as the door handles don't line up exactly perfect, but I was told to make a Service Appointment through the app and they will take care of the adjustment of the doors. After hanging out as long as I felt necessary, I drove about 8 miles to see my friend Marcus Copenhaver at Mr. Detail in Oakwood Village. He is doing an Xpel PPF wrap (clear matte) and tint job for me. So I've only driven the car 8 miles, but it was a dream to dive and I had no problems with the Yoke (I like it). The turn signals will take a bit of getting used to and I honked the horn once by mistake (lady at the light next to me thought I was trying to pick her up. I didn't have time to take any pics, but I will when I get back from Florida. I told Marcus to take his time (I think he is planning a promotional video showing the work on my MX). I plan on picking up the car on April 2nd when I get back from Florida. One thing that is kinda cool is that any time a door is left open on the car, I get a message on my phone. That way I know Marcus and his guys are working on my car. I also know that they are keeping it inside as I can check on temperature in the car. That's all I know right now, but the Lyndhurst Service Center could be better staffed.

I did wait a few days before PPF and car was driving fine, no issues. Night before it charged fine but in the morning was dead.

Tow truck was able to jump the car and get it working. I’d assume if the main battery was dead it wouldn’t charge or turn on with a jump.
Seriously don’t second guess it. Tesla will get your car up and running again. I would text them daily until they get your car diagnosed. It does sound like a 12V issue though, so I’m surprised that haven’t gotten back to you yet with the solution.
