I agree, but these should be software fixes that should be relatively easy to remedy.

Just picked up the X. It looks great. There is a minor issue of the gap being a little narrow on one of the FWDs, but other than that everything is fine. I am going to take @sorka's advice and give it a more thorough check in my garage. I only put 15 miles on it getting home, so if I find anything serious I can still take it back.

No news on the hang-up that stopped all deliveries.

In my case on second and third days it was every 10 minutes or so until I turned it off on freeways.

I haven’t had any at all in my first 1000 miles

Dumb question. Yesterdays flyover showed around 20 car carriers being loaded. The most I have seen in a while. Where are all those cars going and why are we not seeing vins here. Are they all S's?

Mine came with 2021.43.202, and it's pretty stable. After a few days it wanted to install 2022.8.3, although I'm a little leery because I've been reading about issues in 2022.8.2 that weren't fixed in 2022.8.3.

Agreed. 2022.8.3 seems to be the latest but @sorka has older software than what's been pushed to already delivered cars. The plot thickens. Why was this and @jboy210 cars released with older code when the speculation is that software is the reason for the delay?

Mine came with 2021.43.202, and it's pretty stable. After a few days it wanted to install 2022.8.3, although I'm a little leery because I've been reading about issues in 2022.8.2 that weren't fixed in 2022.8.3.

And I had recurrent & random rebooting, rear camera problems, seat belt chiming for no reason, etc on 2021.43. Very frustrating at times. Couldn’t wait until I got the update to 2022.8.3 and it fixed everything. Give it some time and see if the strange software bugs start to appear then update. Maybe a newer version past 2022.8.3. will be out by then. Hard to figure out why some people are plagued with problems and others aren’t.

I saw a black refresh Model X in person tonight.
Its fit and finish was pretty good but was not better than our > 1 year old model Y…. Notice the door handles and the back corner of the passenger window trim, etc, all points we’ve seen here before.

For most, these things wouldn’t even matter. When I got my First X, I didn’t care/notice any of that. In retrospect, my car had all the mentioned misalignments which never bothered me until I read the forums

Talk to me about painters tape. I will have about 500 mile drive back when I eventually get my X 5 seat, blue, standard wheels. Plan to take directly to get PPF entirely But lots of road between SC and wrapping.

Had to drive to the Safeway in Fremont on Mission to buy Isopropyl alcohol and water for a makeshift IPA. The wax they put on there preventing the tape from sticking. A quick wipe on the areas and I'm good for the 130 mile drive home.

Yea, it seems mine is really old. I wonder if it had newer software and if the forced old software due to some issue with recent builds?

I got my VIN 2 days ago and was supposed to pick up in Sunnyvale tomorrow 10am. It was just delayed to 4/17. 5 seater long range, white.

2022.8.3 doesn't fix these issues, though they think so in the service center. The service center can unlock the update for your car. The issue occurs only in long trips.
