Took delivery this morning in my driveway. Given the VIN 3376xx, I knew the build date was 3/22 based on the tracking sheet. Given that, there were three issues with the car - a slice in the armrest, a paint bubble on the rear trunk lid, and a missing trim panel on the drivers side door that was likely originally used to cover up the dent in the door.

Given I had locked in financing, I had zero desire to take another car. Everything wrong with it will be fixed in due time.

One callout, I am a NEMA 14-50 plug user. You do not get this in your mobile kit. Order it now online if you plan to use it. I bought the last one at Tesla Tysons (Ironic - ended up at the service center to buy the adapter after driveway delivery). Despite thinking I read all of the posts in these threads, I must have missed the NEMA post.

Regardless of all the very minor issues, the car is absolutely awesome.

well it finally happened. It’s my graduation day from this forum laugh 😆 Almost at the year mark!
My wife just picked up our MX (LR, 20”, midnight silver, white, 3461xx).
Only some minor paint issues and otherwise it looks quite good. 🤞
Thanks for being a great support group !

I am getting cold feet on the Cream interior (Black Exterior). Thoughts?

I do not want white and I am concerned that Black will be hot 😬

If you go with Black, I have it on my M3. I use the temp keeper when I go into a store or even into a movie so the temp is nice and cool or I'll just start the AC a few min before I get in it (right before I'm ready to leave somewhere). I'm in the Deep South Bay and it gets hot AF down here in the summer. If you go with black, you'll be fine with a few tweaks to your routine.

Save whatever you want and just keep them available in case they demand inclusion. When I was there, we put new UMC's, keys, floor mats and tow kits in the resale cars. The wholesale cars were ignored and sent to auction, Carvana, Vroom, or Carmax.
I will include the tow hitch, key fobs, and set of Tesla/Weathertech mats, I don't really like them, and they are difficult to throw away. I will take the charging kit from the new car and throw it in the trade-in vehicle. I have the 40-amp UMC from a 2015 S, and continue to trade it forward. I'm planning on keeping the brake controller pigtail.

I do come from 2014 Model S and reading through all of this, I expected a major difference in how quiet the car is, but honestly, I don’t feel that much of a difference :( .
You must have a really tight MS or that misaligned trim in your MX is causing wind noise. My wife says that my MX Plaid is much quieter than her 2018 MS. I think the new windows made the difference. I am not using the noise cancelling feature - felt some pressure waves from it and switched it off.

This is my current build and what I have on my MYP. MSM can look dark grey or light blue depending on the light and imo is the best color to stealth PPF. I like all the colors but this looks awesome, congrats.

I'm 3407XX, and was told my birthdate is 4/22. I also felt that the VIN was a bit older than I hoped, but given that deliveries have been lumpy (didn't they even pause for some software updates in May too??), I'm hoping it's a non-issue.

I read somewhere that swivel screens began on my birthdate (4/22), but SA could neither confirm nor deny for my particular car. I'll take the car either way because I feel that Tesla will eventually honor what was promised... or at least Tesla or 3rd party will be able to upgrade it at some point.

If we were anywhere near getting matrix headlights, I might consider punting, but that doesn't appear to be the case.

My EDD is now June 23-29, and I'll report back.
[/QUOTEi was told the same about tilt screen start on 4/22, I got mine built on 4/25 with vin 341250 , bcame with thetikt screen, but no guarantees when it comes 4/22

Finally got the vehicle back from the detailer. Before and afters from 3 angles attached. 20% front windows tints to match the factory rears, 70% windshield, full front PPF plus luggage strip, full ceramic coat including wheels, light smoke on all lights. (The last set of photos of the rear are flipped order somehow).

Also the lighting or artifacts in the photos somehow make the panel alignment and gaps look worse than they do in real life :p. I’ve got a few they need to tweak but nothing horrible thankfully.

Can someone take a pic of the tilt center screen? Not sure how I can tell the difference between one that doesn't.

Went to pick up my new 10/21 built X.

FWD alignment was super jacked and missing paint in a bunch of spots including the seams, which was crazy to me.

Rejected delivery just on those alone.

Manager said he has never seen Tesla sell a year old model as new without some discount.
