Removing number plate holder

I just used one of these at each end of the number plate (not the very end of the plate but the end of the backing part).

No more rattling, takes about a minute and very simple.

Has anyone else with a white M3 considered taking off the front (lower) mounting plate, sanding the edges & spraying it as I did - it avoids a dark shadow against the car and in my opinion looks much nicer. A 'non-EU' plate was then 3M taped on (on the rear, plate taped directly to the boot).

Hi, are the number plates on a Tesla the standard U.K. size 520 x 111?

I don't know about outer dimensions but the supplied Tesla metal plates are much thinner so most normal plates won't fit in the holders.
