It looked like a roofing nail (w/washer) to me. ie. small shaftthat screw is likely not > 1/2" dia. hard to tell without removing it though

Agreed. I had to replace a tire when I ran over a tool with a razor type blade. Nice big slice in the tread. I think it was a paint/drywall scraper of some sorts. Thankfully Tesla Roadside assistance picked me up in a tow truck and took me to the SC. They took my car in and replaced the tire immediately.happens more freq than you'd think. you roll over it and the head angles and then next thing you know it's all the way in. happened to me on the way to the service center
