Yep, I was there on holiday in 2018 (pre-Tesla) and checked out all of the ChargePoint stations that were there. There was a Mitsubishi PHEV that occasionally used the one at Penneshaw but that was the only plug-in vehicle I ever saw. The charger at Kingscote I never saw being used. The one at Parndana was offline and covered in cobwebs. My photos of it are on Plugshare:

Might be a while for the Eyre Peninsula sites..... mentioned in this months Streaky Bay District Council newsletter.
Thanks for the update. Fingers crossed they will start working on 150kw charger soon.
Type 1 chargers on the island are not reliable.

There are free destination chargers across the road in burnside village, in case you aren’t aware. They were the first tesla chargers in Adelaide.
RAA's sites under contruction list has been updated, a handful of prior announced construction sites are gone off the list - eg 150kW at Cowell, 200kW at Port Augusta - with no updates anywhere (RAA Charge locator, Chargefox...)
What type of charging cable is assumed for these locations? I'm still trying to work out if I need to buy a Type 2 to Type 2 cable for my yet to be received MY
Nothing for rapid/ ultra-rapid, they will have tethered CCS2 cables.
Likely BYO Type2-Type2 cable for the Destination sites. While these are all listed as 7kW it's generally viewed as better to purchase a 22kW cable so you can also use three phase sites (up to the 11kW limit of the onboard car charger)

Just to add: This is the destination chargers they are deploying. Has a Type 2 Mennekes connector on it. The user is expected to have the required Type 2 to Type 2 or Type 2 to Type 1 depending upon their vehicle.
That's what they do in Baker CA with their almost 100SC site. MegaPacks installed to smooth out any intermittent current draw on the grid in the earlier development of Baker until the grid was later upgraded.

Kempower units, nominal peak 200kW, but max 300A cables - so effective 115kW for 400V cars.
3 CCS2 plugs, 1 CHAdeMo
Kempower units are $0.59/kWh most times ($0.68/kWh over the 5-10pm evening peak)
Then a single 7kW BYO Type 2 unit, that with a 5m cable might serve two of the Kempower spots and one non-marked spot.
7kW $0.25/kWh most times and $0.32/kWh 5-10pm

I think that will be within a parking station. I dont think there are any carparking areas on that part of grenfell street
