Any short calls for 11/3 and 11/10 lower than -C240 around here seeing how things have been trading the past 2-3 days?

230 should be safe but this is a crappy point of entry. Might as well wait for 222 before looking at it again.
True. Enjoyed the past few days trend of pop at morning and fade all day to sell calls (-C230) at the pop and buy to close at the lows. Worked well until it doesn't.
at this point in the decline, closing below some major support is not a big concern anymore. Seems like we are running out of sellers. Just a matter of time.

10% to 15% OTM is what is generally "safe" for Tesla. But there is always that 5% chance of it going ITM. This is for the weeklies, compared to open price on Mondays.

Past couple of days Tesla has been behaving as if to break free of Nasdaq. Yet we see Tesla being forced by Nasdaq ....
Anyday Tesla doesn't fall 2x Nasdaq (or goes up more than 2x Nasdaq) is a strong day for Tesla
I hope you guys have fun today. I'll be operating so I can't play. Futures are up and TSLA up on news that Ford and others are delaying their EV investments and won't surpass Tesla anytime soon (shocker). Maybe just rip at the open with no drop?
I sold the BPS side of my iron condor for next week yesterday +130/-150. I will see if I can place an order for the call side today, or just wait until Monday. Looking at 260/280 or higher. After the drop we had, I want at least 20% OTM next week. I'm happy with just 0.1 for the entire IC. 200X/week that never go ITM means $100k in income/year on just those.

I would think that the bad ER results got digested by now. Tesla has raised priced on the Y, project Highland is getting great reviews and is being sold at higher price and the Cybertruck is about to be delivered. Maybe the worse is over but macro pending?
Max Pain dropped to $212.50, not 217.50.
Perthaps this whole chart needs adjusting accordingly?
Yes. MP can shift during the day, especially Friday as ppl close out their option positions.

UAW strike is coming to an end. The workers are getting a raise. Tesla may have to increase wages too, putting further stress on margins.
Wild tape today on many tickers, TSLA has been quite orderly compared to the others.
Closed most of my day-trade puts and short calls here @$206.75 (opened earlier @ $212.10) for nice gains and watching.

Highest GEX magnet/resistance moved down to Max Pain as well. Point of interest for price today.
