Got our VIN tonight as well with EDD 11/12-11/16. Haven’t heard from advisor yet, however. We’re also out of town most of these days!

Holy Guacamole! I too woke up to a VIN: 7SAYGDEE9NF3xxxx. EDD of Nov 24-28 (right over Thanksgiving, of course!). This has been a wild few months: I sold my house and moved in with my sweetie, whose house had no garage so I found a contractor, who started work after months of waiting. They are literally finishing the garage this week, installing the Wall Connector today. Crazy, crazy, crazy.
There are going to be a lot of people getting vins early now that so many are declining vins and people putting orders on hold until there is more details on if the EV tax credit passes or not.

My date is still stubbornly refusing to budge, although for no reason at all I'm increasingly sure that it's going to update to a 2021 EDD within the next 48 hours. Given the mess that BBB is becoming, I'm not waiting for tax credits. I'll be pissed if they come weeks or a month or two after I get my car, but I'm certainly not going back into the big queue to go through this waiting thing again...
wow that's a SUPER fast turn around. Also so jealous you got a VIN with order in September! Are you doing a loan? Wonder how painful the process is. Are you going to a SC or are they remote delivering?
November 23 to December 3 was the last EDD before the VIN.
Yes, financing a small portion using Tesla Finance (US Bank). During the ordering process, I put in Fremont as the pick-up location. In the text today, there was an embedded link to schedule for home delivery. This seemed more convenient anyway.

Wow! MYLR booked in September getting delivery in November. That is good news for the res of us in MN/Midwest. I look forward to hearing from you if Tesla provides Rocker PPF and front or rear mudguards. I am happy I got my Tesla Wall Charger installed a week ago. I just have to find the title of the Lexus SUV we plan to sell.

Submitted order reservation 9/25/21 with an estimated delivery date of March 2022. Received notification October 25th that I was matched to a VIN and could pickup that car that week. With the uncertainty of the EV credits (if retroactive or not) Tesla recommended I put my order on hold until Jan 2022. Tesla helped me to transition my reservation to a hold status and it has the "I'm ready" button available when we are able to move forward. Now I've been hearing that since so many Tesla reservation holders are waiting till 2022 Tesla is telling them their only option is to cancel the order and resubmit another order in 2022. You'll loose on the price increase savings and the $250.00 reservation fee.
Oh this sucks if Tesla wants us to cancel our original order if we plan to wait. I understand that so many people want to hold but they can't make people cancel the order and put a new order again. Rather they should focus on delivering cars to Asia and Europe in the last 2 months. This way everyone is happy.

i have the same edd as you for my mylr 7seater.. and its been holding for a little over 2 weeks now aswell...but im not to crazy about the ev credit .. i just want my tesla
maybe we will have the same delivery date..

So regarding the EV rebate and where it currently stands it is pretty significant. You could realize an $8000.00 rebate, and unlike the old $7500.00 tax credit it's not dependent on your tax liability so you're able to realize the full amount regardless. This to me is a sizable credit worth waiting for. I've also heard for 2022 you'll have to file for this credit in 2023 tax year but from 2023 on the tax credit will be applied at point of sale.
I know what you mean. My husband wants me to take the car whenever I get it based on the situation Tesla is in right now and not wait at all. But $8k is too hard to loose if I get my car delivery last week of Dec. I am very close to Fremont, and am sure, I will get the car in EOQ rush.
