Superchargers every 80-100 miles by end of year.
90-120kW step up in charging
Beta testing. Rollout within 3 months.
Now tapering or slowing of charging happening later, therefore total charge time is dropping by 50%.

Considering the cost, permit times, and other red tape I think it's actually pretty aggressive.

I think most of us expected that. What is a surprise is the adjustment to the charging algorithm that allows full rate charging to a higher SOC, and therefore the charge time being cut in half. Very nice.

Seriously? This announcement was a big deal. People worried about roadtrips and the time it takes to recharge were just told 'not an issue'. People worried about lines at Superchargers were just told that one SC is able to handle up to 3x the number of cars that are currently handled.
If it goes 'way down', I'm buying more. I'll state that I believe it will be up at close.

Agree. Not really sure what people expect...lightening bolts from someone's nether region? *This* is seriously excellent news. If you don't get that, you can't be helped.

Yes, that was shown a while ago on the "SuperCharging Tesla" "Seeking Alpha" article by Randy Carlson:

Wall Street has been slow to *grasp* the last couple of Tesla announcements and they've repeatedly totally missed some key aspects. It's like they can't wrap their brains around what Tesla is doing.

Maybe we can get Woody Harelson & Bill Murray to do a "Zombieland 2", Tesla could do a product placement, they'll keep borrowing Model S cars as they travel around the country
(stopping by SuperChargers as needed of course)
