I'm surprised by the market reaction to the gigafactory. It's addressing one of the major risks constantly raised about Tesla's long term potential and the market has given it a big yawn. Granted, we all knew it was upcoming, but the concrete details seemed quite a bit better than expected. Maybe it's just taking time.

ckessel, I suspect we've gotten as much as a 10% pop from the Gigafactory announcement. That is, I think the ~20% jump from the Morgan Stanley report Jonas put out this week would have backed off halfway or more if not followed by yesterday's Gigafactory news. To me Tesla's release is a considerably more solid catalyst than Jonas' new report and new price target (hope Jonas has it right, it's just less tangible than Tesla's cap raise and publicly stated plan).
