Obvious irony. "Zacks is a good contrarian indicator." meaning "Do the opposite of what they say and you'll be fine" more or less. I agree with sleepy's analysis on this one.

Jonas's last major upgrade included a footnote that said if Tesla can sell 500,000 vehicles, and achieve 20% operating margins, the stock is worth ~$800. Now that he's recognizing the value of Tesla in the energy storage business, and as a supplier to other companies, he's basically indirectly saying the stock could easily be worth $1000-$1500.

Easily 10.000.

Hi everyone, first time post. Found this thread on google.

My opinion: the stock is currently overheated and overbought. So in the short-term (next 2 to 3 weeks) we will see a correction, but it will bounce back afterwards. Here's a rough indication, ignore the dates:

Tsla has been zacks number one auto pick and a strong buy from them for a long time. The PT raise may be new but their bullishness is not.

might not be until after the options expire over the weekend. Although, if someone was able to short it at 256-265 range they might have made off profitable enough to get them to re-short without needing to cover at a loss. So I don't know how much pressure we will have. Plus the trend leading up to Feb 14th was downward on the number of shares short, so it is possible that this week's squeeze is all we are going to get out of the deal.
