I wonder how long it will take the market to figure out that this (X recall) is not a major financial hit on opex, nor a design flaw, but rather an indication that Tesla takes the safety of its customers FAR more seriously than any other car manufacturer and is willing to issue recalls in "an abundance of caution" rather than sweep potential problems under the rug (with full collusion or negligence on the part of the dealers) until people die and the problem has impacted millions of cars and lives.

This will end up being a positive for Tesla, as it has been with previous recalls. Public will understand that this was done in the best interest of the customers, and Tesla is uniquely positioned to execute on this very quickly due to the fact that they own their entire dealer and service network.

Looking to add some shares as it consolidates.
