No. He had a lot of exposure last Wednesday and I think he has said everything he wants to say. I’m sure he is there and looking forward to the launch more than anyone.
So what causes the corkscrew effect? I assume Falcon wasn't rotating and I know we've seen similar patterns in the sky in other launches. That was a great photo, too bad there were so many clouds overhead.

Edit: just realized that an orbital phase maneuver is not enough; it only changes phase within a given plane, but here we would need to change the plane altogether, which is even more expensive. The explanation above more describes why they can only launch on certain days, even though the launch site passes through the orbital plane every day.
