SPOILER ALERT: My P3D came with its spoiler

Picked up my P3D this morning from the Marina Del Rey delivery center and got a pleasant surprise. My car came with its carbon fiber spoiler. Oh, and the Performance badge was a nice perk as well. Elon is supposedly stopping by the delivery center later today. I like to think that he made this happen, lol. Thanks, Elon!

The red performance demo cars were gone in Q3.

I saw over 20 performance demos at Hawthorne and none of them had badges or spoilers.

Chances are demo status isn’t related to spoiler / badges.

Nah, the red on white P3D+ demos were around in Q4 as of November. I went to many stores in LA and OC to inspect demos trying to find the perfect paint job, which didn't exist, so I ended up keeping and taking delivery the red on white LR-AWD.

wasn't January the estimate on when the badges/spoilers would be in? I'd assume the factory production line would get them a few weeks before the rest of us get it so this would make sense.

Just a couple minor scratches on the trunk that can easily be buffed out. Otherwise, the car is damn near perfect.

How is this a bad thing exactly? They said January timeframe, they've already started installing badging if you want it, and now they're clearly installing spoilers. What's the issue?

Who said January timeframe? Service center employees told me explicitly they were not supposed to mention anything or speculate on dates with customers.

FWIW, mine was the only one being delivered with the spoiler and the delivery guy said it was the first he’d seen.

This is the response I got from Tesla Support:

"Parts have just begun shipping, and we will inform you as soon as they become available at your preferred Tesla Service Center. Your account will automatically have a note applied to record that you’re owed these installations, and there is no need to reach out to confirm".

Nothing official, just a bunch of people that were told badges would be around November and spoilers would be EOY or January. Since badges started showing up in November and now a spoiler has shown up in December, I feel like those estimates were correct.

Sorry if already covered elsewhere, but will Tesla eventually sell the spoiler, or are they just for P? I have a P (non-PUP) so curious if they will let me buy one.
