Squeaking noise when pre heating - video attached

2021 MYLR - first winter - when preheating I hear a squeaking noise from the front.

Kind of a rotational squeak maybe.

Anyone know if it’s normal due to the cold?

Mine makes all kinds of racket - never gotten worse or better. I just learned to ignore it...

Wow, mine makes the same exact noise. I've had the car for 10 months and the noise started in the summer. I guess I have to just live with it? Sometimes it is quite loud and annoying . Service center said Tesla is looking into it but that it is safe to use

My Model Y has the exact same noise as yours. It started today. Did you get it resolve?

OP, does this noise stop as soon as you open the door? Oddly enough I have a Model S that does the same thing. Still trying to narrow down where it’s coming from

I pulled into my garage After a rainy drive home in my Y tonight and noticed this similar squeak coming from the vent area under the frunk. Sorry I can’t seem to attach a video, happy to if someone tells me how. Any more ideas about what this is from?

Just brought my 2021 M3 in today for this reason. They found that it's the condenser fan. Was not in stock so I have to wait 3 weeks for the parts.

This week I started having a noise like this with my Model S when preconditioning (i.e., preheating) in the morning (it is still cold at night here). Mine is essentially the same but a little more constant. As soon as a door opens the preconditioning stops and this noise stops with it. Has anyone had this successfully taken care of? I have a service appointment coming up, and I'd like to get this addressed too if I can.

I wouldnt exactly call the sound mine makes a squeaking sound. Mine sounds more like a jet engine whenever the heat is turned on. A REALLY LOUD jet engine. When I exit the car and the car shuts down, you can hear it spooling down. The loudness kind of surprised me coming from a normally really quiet car.
