I really really hope the model 3 comes with something like this electronic sun block for the roof. A standard feature like that would make everybody want a m3.
Can it go to totally opaque?

I haven't had the fortune of sitting in a model S or X so I can only compare to the ICE cars I've driven. Your post gives me hope it'll be OK but I'd love to see the pictures, maybe you can upload them to imagur and then link them? ....BUT if sun wasn't an issue then why are you leaving your add-on sun shades on all summer? I'm genuinely interested, not trying to be argumentative.
That's pretty cool! I would go for that as an option myself. The car is not finished. Am I the only one that thinks the M3 will have Smart/Electronic glass or whatever you want to call it? The possible uses for this are endless and Tesla is the perfect company to make you ask how we ever lived without it.

Is that confirmed to be an option, or speculation?I will be getting a fixed pano on my Model ☰.

I would've loved a fixed pano on my S, in the year I've had it I've never opened the pano, but I love the view and don't want a solid roof.
Looks coolIt that free? I got for my 85 about 110USD from aMazon , i buy many things from them, it much be a good choice to share to all of you. See photo
It won't be a problem if a sunshade can solve it....Would say this is quite a concern for me hence why I will opt for a metal roof and tint rear glass on Model 3. Just imagine paying extra for a sunroof and having to put up with sunshades and other rattly bits
I was under the impression that the fixed pano was the standard roof option and that you could upgrade to the sun roof or down grade to a solid roof. Am I confused on this?Is that confirmed to be an option, or speculation?

I was asking because I don't know, lol.I was under the impression that the fixed pano was the standard roof option and that you could upgrade to the sun roof or down grade to a solid roof. Am I confused on this?

No one (except Tesla insiders) knows which is standard. Just because the prototypes had it doesn't mean it will be standard. Just like the dual motors they had.I was under the impression that the fixed pano was the standard roof option and that you could upgrade to the sun roof or down grade to a solid roof. I thought I heard one of the engineers in the first reveal say as much. I may be wrong though. No one (except Tesla insiders) knows which is standard. Just because the prototypes had it doesn't mean it will be standard. Just like the dual motors they had.
No, I think he only stated that there would be 3 options. I don't think he said which would come standard.I t
