Yep, another one. This one will be located just a few miles north of the Austin Gigafactory

Actually it's the far northern edge of the land Tesla bought. That parcel they have down there is massive. They are only building on a tiny bit of it so far.Yep, another one. This one will be located just a few miles north of the Austin Gigafactory
It's not the Circle K "Corner Store"?Actually it's the far northern edge of the land Tesla bought. That parcel they have down there is massive. They are only building on a tiny bit of it so far.
It probably is. What I meant to infer is that it's still really really close (like across the street) from the northern-most edge of Tesla's land. I'm not 100% but I think it goes all the way up to FM 969, the road that runs by the proposed Super Charger location. If you look on open street maps (or Supercharger.info) the purple area I believe is the land owned by Tesla. It's not the Circle K "Corner Store"?
this is not the same location. The address is the Circle K gas station on Webbervile Road - not the factory.
Correct, I only posted in here because it was effectively next door and I hadn't seen a thread for Giga Texas supercharger yet. It was just to get the attention of the moderators that can add locations.this is not the same location. The address is the Circle K gas station on Webbervile Road - not the factory.
Presumably because the factory is not likely to be public charging, whereas Webberville Road will be
Eight cars charging in Brian Roschetzky's video.Looks like the bank of 12 SuperChargers at Giga Austin are working. You can see a Model S charging in Jeff Robert's latest video.
the gigafactory superchargers have been working for a while - but they are not open to the publicLooks like the bank of 12 SuperChargers at Giga Austin are working. You can see a Model S charging in Jeff Robert's latest video.
Meaning that there's physical access controls to get to those superchargers, or there's some software trickery that only allows certified cars to charge there?the gigafactory superchargers have been working for a while - but they are not open to the public
They even have their own threadMeaning that there's physical access controls to get to those superchargers, or there's some software trickery that only allows certified cars to charge there?

if its those prefab units that are 1 cabinet with 4 stalls, then that would make it 16 stallsAdditional info for this one
Looks like just 4 stations?
Ah ok, makes sense. It would be kinda crazy if it was only 4 at the SC closest to the new factory. Thanksif its those prefab units that are 1 cabinet with 4 stalls, then that would make it 16 stalls
