Supercharger - Barstow, CA - Tanger Way (LIVE, 70 V3 stalls)

*Up to 4 stalls. While 4 is by far the normal install, it's not unheard of for there to be only 3, or even 2 pedestals per cabinet for V3.

I drove by this afternoon, and although there is still earth to be moved and not even close to paving anything, they were already putting up some of the charging station pylons.
Passed by there today, we didn’t know that there were new chargers going up, so we just happened to look there and there appeared to be 20-40 up So far

Yep! Barring anything unusual, they can wrap this up in a couple months easily to hit the Q2 delivery goal. Once it's through the complete permitting process, surveys are completed, and Tesla has the subs committed, it can come together quick.
LOL, we don't need permits someone surmised earlier? Riiiiiggghhht. . . We just cobble together gigawatts of power distribution and the very lives of civilians hooking up $100K cars based on schematics we sketch up on the back of napkin in a "pub." No seriously, we have the strictest building codes that I'm aware of internationally and even more so in California. OK, back on topic!
What's also nice is the area is all but completely undeveloped. No existing gas/plumbing lines to avoid. Immediate staging areas. No traffic control. They can lay the conduit straight away with simple trenching. Don't have to break up legacy parking lot concrete/rebar. It also saves at least one code inspection on the front end.
The wife and I haven't been to Las Vegas in a while but this spot was always our mid-point from San Diego and there's decent food options here also. Never had an issue with waiting at the existing Supercharger 1/4 mile from this will be, but it seemed to be trending that direction. Excited to check this one out for our next trip that way!
