Looks like this was originally suppose to be destination chargers based on the permit filed. I'm not a huge fan of the location, but I suspect Tesla is trying to lure apartment owners that don't have the option to install L2.

Those are in addition to the Superchargers. The Superchargers are already on the "Adjacent Park Approved DP" drawing (3 banks of 4 prefab Superchargers already on the drawing to the left of the red zone.)

Totally missed that. They appear to have created a new address for the park expansion, which hasn't been updated in DMAP yet, so the park permit (DP2023-01586) doesn't show up.

Yeah I checked too, that address only has the 04748 one with the destination charging.

The one I found was a high res jpg from this article from May.

Given the photos, they are also putting in the destination charging right now too (the "L" shaped trenching and mini cabinet/transformer pad)

The level of disappoint I have in myself for not realizing this was going up despite living across the street is immeasurable. I noticed the clearing of that parking lot and construction last week, but none of this was in there then, so they are moving very very quickly. I'll track this daily and keep the thread updated with progress.View attachment 969287
It's okay. You can make it up to us by posting weekly progress reports.

Still a lot of people working today, seems like most of the work is on asphalt/other things that are going up along with the superchargers in the park. I'll grab a photo later today when I walk my dog.
9/1/2023, site clean up, but not much progress on the superchargers specifically

Tons of work going on today (trying not to invade privacy of workers, so minimal photos). They have unsheathed the cabinets, but the stalls are still covered (can't tell if V3 or V4 yet). They are currently paving the basketball courts and I saw electricians working on the supercharger cabinets earlier today.

Of note is the sign they put up. Sounds like this site + the park upgrades will be live in October, which is pretty damn quick.

Step down transformer for the L2 charging (main transformer will be much larger) and a switchgear cabinet that probably is for the whole site(?). Internet stranger suggests extra treats for dog, as they often drag us outside and lead to cool photos like this.
