Photo taken Thursday afternoon, Oct 5th. One of the guys told me they'd be done pretty quick, then it would be up to BC Hydro to install the big green transformer. I asked him about other installations and he mentioned Whitecourt and Manning Park.

Whitecourt certainly fits with the Valleyview AB coming soon site shown on the Tesla Find Us map. Whitecourt is pretty much halfway between Valleyview and Edmonton.

The charger looks finished. There seems to be no transformer. There was crew doing some cable work next to concrete platform (transformer?).

Do we have any confirmation that the BCH meter is in place? In Valemount the meter base is on one of the white equipment cabinets.

Just a few more days for Tesla to meet the target opening date in 2023. It is definitely encouraging to see the meter on the Clearwater site and some indication of recent BC Hydro activity at Valemount site.

Yes, there's a 180kw BC Hydro charger that has been delayed since Sept 2023 in Tumbler Ridge, all northern chargers are delayed for some reason

Not sure if anyone is really sure about what is holding up this site and the one in Valemount. From what I see on other threads, I had the impression that when the meter went in it meant that the utility requirements had been satisfied and that activation was in the hands of Tesla. Maybe Tesla wants to reconfigure the chargers to allow use by non-Tesla EV's? Maybe Tesla doesn't have anyone that can go the sites right now and do final checks?
