Just saw this new location today and immediately searched TMC to see if there was a thread on it already.

Yeah that Plaza is pretty empty. changes owners every 5 years or so. I'm sure there was some favorable, either tax credits for the owners, or maybe Tesla was able to strike a deal for really cheap because of how empty it is and owners are trying to do anything to attract more foot traffic. (They rent out the parking lot to sell Christmas trees during the holidays lol)

As longtimeowner noted above, a movie theater is opening next door. But Im not sure anyone's going to charge while seeing a movie, then get charged idle fees.

They need to have time of day charging rates. Flat rates don't work for this location. Or much lower rates 24/7 to drive traffic to that mall. Also, have a quick sandwich or food service in the mall would be great. The burger place closed down, so nothing that can be ordered quickly within the mall.

it needs to be 35cents all day to bring in traffic but I am not the landlord or PGE, that plaza is literally a ghost town

Yeah there is no fast food up there. All just fancy sit down restaurants, and they last 2-3 years then close.
There is that new crepe place, Brown Butter, but more of a brunch place, over priced & long waits.

That office building at the corner and bank of america would be great to replace with some drive thru.

The best attraction is just parking at the edge and looking at the hills lol.
