Supercharger - Goleta, CA (LIVE 6 May 2020, 12 V3 stalls)

There have been whole other threads on this. Pretty certain I recall that you won't get fined if you're EITHER a charging ev OR handicapped

In California, a disabled-only parking spot requires specific indications to be legally enforceable. The inclusion of the minimum fine $250 language seems to indicate an intent to make the space enforceable, so I wouldn't risk it. But if the only marking in the stall itself is "EV PARKING ONLY" rather than a wheelchair symbol it may not technically be fully up to snuff: Law section

First layer of asphalt down. It’s a local company doing it, looks like they are taking lunch, I’ll bet they finish the asphalt this afternoon.

Hopefully they cover the rest of the parking lot in this area, cuz it is cracked and beat to hell. The project is pretty much complete.

Well, it’s striped. My interpretation is that two of them are ADA only.

No progress on the fencing, Ambient has not been here for a couple of days. Maybe waiting on inspection. I think inspection is being done virtually at the moment, so who knows.

The ADA spot away from the chargers has a fine specified on it. And it’s odd that there is only one sign at the two spots at the chargers.

Your interpretation makes sense to me, but strange they didn't put a handicap metal sign on the other pole.

The one on the right was probably supposed to be an unmarked "standard-accessible" space, which needs to be flat, but doesn't need extra room reserved for van unloading. One such space is generally required in addition to the van-accessible space, but only needs to be marked with an ISA if there are over 25 chargers (see page 36 here: https://www.dgs.ca.gov/-/media/Divi...hash=C9929A80D195299DF7FB1C3B78A589824305C79E)
