This is one of the main reasons we purchased a CHAdeMO adapter, so we could charge in Ft. Dodge and Early., which are both along Hwy 20. But even going to the DCFC in Ft. Dodge adds another 20+ driving minutes.I'd prefer something on Hwy 20 west of I-35 (Webster City / Fort Dodge area). That trek to Sioux City needs a stop w/o having to go 35-40 miles out of the way to jot up to Dows and then back down and over.
These two are the closest forms:Is there a way we can write tesla to get them to explore an option west of I-35 on HW 20?
I take that with a grain of salt. Some others say otherwise and no proof has been postedSomeone on the Iowa Tesla Owners Facebook group reported today (March 25) that the Grinnell supercharger is now active.
There is a new truck stop being built on 20 near fort dodge. I saw the plans had ev chargers but not sure what kind.I'd prefer something on Hwy 20 west of I-35 (Webster City / Fort Dodge area).
