I went by there on May 4th and stopped by to see if there was any progress. There was a work crew there working where the meter would go so maybe it’s almost ready to go. I’ll check when I pass back by in a few days.

If it's confirmed on and I'm feeling energetic, I might swing by there on my scenic route to Sounds of Silence. I'll be interested in any news between now and the 19th.
Just tried to charge here this afternoon, not working as of yet.
The photos above indicate that the meter is still missing. Anyone who can stop by needs to focus here. Once that is installed, Tesla should be able to come out and do final commissioning steps.

Great, just in time for me to drive my Model 3 from Denver to Grinnell for my college reunion next week. Back in 1974 when this was the location of a Skelly's truck stop, and I was sitting in a booth at 2 am eating some greasy crap, I wonder what I would have thought if I had a window to the future and could see this?
This has to be my favorite Supercharger location, simply because it matches my last name. I had a chance to run by the Grinnell College bookstore and get some stuff for my kids. The cashier looked at my credit card, then asked for my ID, looking confused. Finally, she asked if I get the faculty discount. I couldn't lie to her, but was tempted. Robert Grinnell, very distant relative of Josiah Bushnell Grinnell, founder of the town and first four year college West of the Mississippi.
