Supercharger - Hattiesburg, MS

Anyone have any update on this one? I plan on driving to Pensacola, FL on October 25, and it would be great if I could charge up in Hattiesburg.

No noticeable progress in the last couple of weeks. The construction crew that was working this project is now over in McComb presumably bringing that site up to the same point. A rep from Stirling Properties wouldn’t give a specific date but just said they would be available by the end of the year.

Seems optimistic based on the photos. Just watching others comes together they usually look complete them have to be "turned on/inspected" a couple of weeks later.

Nice to see another Bulldog here.

Hattiesburg Supercharger will be great. Almost as nice as a Starkvegas Supercharger would be. The new ChargePoint chargers are big help. I just wish that they had a few on campus.

Starkville is in serious need of public charging. I can safely make it from Jackson and back, but there isn't much wiggle room. Any sort of public charging around the Cotton District or Main St would make those round trips much more relaxing.

Starkville added 4 ChargePoint charging stations in September. 2 are near Main St and 2 are near Travis Outlaw rec center.

I drove by it yesterday, and nothing has changed from the latest pictures. I am guessing they are waiting on the charging stations to arrive to be installed.

There is a Level 3 Charger in Gulfport at the Outlet Mall, but it is an Electrify America managed charger. Plug types are CCS and CHaDemo. I wish Tesla made a CCS adapter like the current CHaDemo adapter they sell. Hopefully it’s coming soon as Europe already uses the CCS standard in their Model 3’s.

Great news! McComb, MS SuperChargers are online as of today. Hattiesburg, MS SuperChargers are being completed now and will be online later this evening. They will both show up in nav maps either Sunday or Monday!

I had added the photo on the last post so not sure why it didn’t upload. Posting again here. I actually spoke with the Tesla rep while at the Hattiesburg location.

Anything of McComb? I also see that the top and back covers of most of the stalls have been removed. I wonder why the Tesla engineer did that.

They were being installed. The Tesla engineer on-site had finished the McComb location earlier in the day.

Both. The sites were both completed up to the point wheee the stalls needed to be placed, final connections made, and power turned on (and operational checks and such...). All that was completed for McComb today and you can charge there now. McComb is fully operational at this time. Will show up in vehicle nav tomorrow or Monday.

Those tasks are being completed at the Hattiesburg location now. They anticipate finishing up and having Hattiesburg online later this evening. Will be able to charge there no later than tomorrow.
