A new 16-stall Supercharger is coming soon to the Target in Nora Plaza, on the north side of Indianapolis. Per the city, the permit has already been issued, although I'm not so sure about that.

Perhaps the Indy North will go up rather quickly as it appears Tesla is learning as it continues to build charging locations. These pictures from the recently opened chargers on the Ohio Turnpike show some prefab work done on the pedestal bases. This was work that was once formed on site.

Kind of an odd site, only 5.5 miles to Carmel, roughly equidistant from I-465 to Carmel or Nora. My old stomping grounds and en route to my mother’s house. I’ll try to keep an eye out for construction.

This is a good spot for a supercharger as this lot is very busy. Also, it's very close to the Whole Foods. I see Teslas in this lot all the time and they haven't even started construction.

I am sure you must have meant to say the "lot is (not) very busy".

No activity yet. I did notice a dashed yellow line behind Starbucks leading out across the parking lot. Not sure how old those marks are. At the least, probably mark existing utilities.

Nothing started yet. No equipment. I am told they are NOT renewing contracts on the small retail shops. I suspect this may be a total redevelopment site but if you look at Shelbyville it’s completed, but the site has yet to get pavement so it may be awhile before actually opening.

Bids are starting to go out to electrical companies so construction should start this year

Bids are done. Projected install is now to may this year.

This Nora location had been removed from the Tesla website and only the N Illinois location had been marked there for a few months.

@Trevor Burch, the bids are completed for the Nora location. I am not sure about the bids for the carmel location. Tesla has not officially posted this on their site but if you look at the site supercharge.info you will see all locations that have permits pending or under construction.

Thanks. I was aware that it was listed on supercharge.info due to the permit listed on the thread here. I just wanted to confirm since this site hadn’t seen any updates in months and had been removed from the Tesla site. Thanks for the clarification!

I was in the area and knew that it had been stated that construction might begin sometime this month. No signs of construction or any preparations yet as of today. The permitted area is the third parking lot row ending in the distance.
