I’m moving into a new house about two miles from here. While I’ll have my wall connector at home, this will be convenient to run over to if I need a quicker charge.
I live near this new supercharging location and shop at this HyVee regularly. I’m terms of the parking lot location, this part is rarely/never occupied by ICE vehicles, as there is ample parking in front of the convenient store(15-20 spaces). It is a dead end part of the lot, and trailers/pull through won’t be ideal. It’s approximately 2 min off the exit and much more accessible than the one in Coralville.
The wires, from the Tesla equipment, appear to be pulled to transformer pad. I think the transformer must not be too far away if they pulled the wires to the pad. Too optimistic? Workers still on site today.
So close... Today workers were finishing wiring to the chargers. Also the signs have been put up, the landscaping looks better, and the site over all looks cleaned up a bit.

The fence along Dodge St was still up and some along the side near the store. I think some or most of the surplus building supplies have been moved. I wouldn't be surprised if all the fence is all gone by this weekend.
Fingers crossed for me too. I’m moving to the east side from North Liberty later this week and it would be great to have this up and running while I manage to get my Wall Connector installed at the new house.
Two Mid-American utility trucks on site today as well as what looked like a large generator(I think). Maybe as a backup for the gas station and store during the connection process? Either way it's still progress.
