Was told today this site was to be completed and live the first week of November, or the 2nd week at the latest.
Tesla store said they would tow ICE cars for violating, so we will see what happens over the holidays when the mall is a zoo.

We stopped by yesterday and saw they made a lot of progress over the past week.
This is a really busy part of the lot. It was packed yesterday and I don't think they'll have to wait until the Christmas season before they need to start towing.

Perhaps they could use cones, as is done at Glenwood Springs or The Dalles OR. Depends on the lot owner, I suppose.

Doubtful. I didn't see any indication there would be one and that would be pretty unusual.

Notes: only lack one pedestal, clean up phase, building structure around Superchargers, asked about distribution transformer and it’s separate from construction area...see photo. No pad poured yet, does Xcel normally do that?

I think the new Superchargers are only ~320 feet farther away from the main entrance than the existing ones. The additional distance might help but I think a better location would've been one of the small lots or the T intersection of the southeast entrance to Park Meadows. Those spots are rarely to never used, except when Tesla used them for a few weeks earlier this year before Lone Tree got complaints and they had to stop parking cars there.
I'll probably never charge at this location but hopefully those who do need them won't find them blocked or "too far" away.
It might be an odd grand opening if they don't have the transformer installed in time. We were there a couple of days ago but there was no transformer or even a concrete pad for the transformer.

Site construction is complete, a crew is there resurfacing and restripping the space.
However, no distribution transformer and no meter so it’s going to be a while before this site goes live.

I think the latest word is that they will only be used for charging test drive cars. We'll probably know for sure at the breakfast on Saturday even though the Supercharger won't be ready yet.
Xcel is installing the transformer NOW! The manager of the Park Meadows Store said the "temporary" Superchargers in the garage will be removed and the store is NOT allowed to use the Superchargers, but will charge demo cars at the HPWCs.
