Supercharger - Mesquite, NV

The Tesla Find Us map has been updated with a couple of new additions to our area. This one in Mesquite, NV as well as Edwards, CO (Q2 - 2022). Find Us | Tesla

Mesquite shows it opening in Q4 - 2021. I don't see any old threads or discussions on this so I assume this is new. Will help the ever increasingly busy route between Vegas and SLC or Colorado.

I saw this too! Lookin forward to this charger. I'd still like to have one at the Love's on I-15 and somewhere on the North-West side of Las Vegas, out near Creech AFB or at the giant Smith's in Skye Canyon...
I scouted that Love's and there isn't much space for a supercharger. It was pretty full even on some random weekday afternoon. Of course there is a lot of empty space in the general area so they could make a new parking lot, but that is beyond what Tesla normally does for an installation.

But I agree it would be very helpful for the route towards Ely once the supercharger there opens.

Also agree about Indian Springs. I was disappointed when I drove through recently and saw a new or remodeled gas station that didn't have a supercharger. Can't remember if it was the Chevron or Terrible's or both, but it would have been a good spot for a supercharger.

I am looking forward to the Mesquite charger. We go up to Casablanca regularly. I can make the round trip to LV without charging but if we add some golf, which we regularly do then I am SOL for a charge unless I pay the campground or go spend hours at the Eureka destination charger. This is gonna make the golf trips a lot easier.

Ha! I drove through about 10 days ago and tried to spy Casablanca from the freeway but somehow I missed it. Looks like it would be tough to see traveling southbound like I was. I've spent more time in Mesquite than I care to admit, and I'm pretty sure Casablanca is the best host they could have picked so this is good news.

186 miles to Beatty. Still room for a charger on the NW corner of Las Vegas.
There’s a new NorthWest Las Vegas location is in the permit process… see the link below

Google Maps and some digging shows there is the McDonald's adjacent to the Shell gas station (street view shows a vacant lot but I think that image is older). Its a bit of a walk but not terrible - ~350 ft. Its fast food but whatever.

Nope that one got torn down a while back and it moved over by the Sinclair gas station, which is a half mile walk.

I work for the PD in Mesquite. We just ordered a model Y and a Mach E to use as detective vehicles and to test which EV will work better for us. Ill update when this super charger comes online. This casino has great food options 24/7 inside and bathrooms of course. There are also a couple of convenient stores/gas stations very close for purchasing snacks. Should be a good spot. The Ford dealership in town may also be installing a fast charger very soon but I do not know which type yet.
