I'm 5 minutes away. This will be clutch for the nights I forget to plug in at home and realize in the morning that I need more charge to get through my day. Currently my S charges at roughly 60kms/hr.
Very weird indeed. Typically "Check Power" means the power is off, so not sure what's going on here. In 6 years, I've never come across a J1772 station that my car doesn't like. May have to pay this site a visit!
I've used those Samsung chargers a couple years back when it was on Plugshare. At least at that time, they had individual switches that needed to be turned on. Worked fine with my S. I'd always leave a note for them to call me if they needed the charger, but since I work at home most the time now I hadn't been there for a while. A year ago, a co-worker with an i3 was told that they chargers were for employees only and asked him to leave. If you do try to use them, go off hours and look for a switch on the charger.
And as a Microsoft employee, we are indeed moving downtown in 2020. It's a mixed bag; those in the city or close to the Go line are happy, those out of the city are definitely not.
