I stopped by this SC last Monday(5/8) and noticed a Tesla technician working on changing out the cords at the stalls. He stated that the old cords where getting hot, so new thicker wires/cords were being installed. I also stopped by this past Friday (5/12) and only three of the six stalls were operational. Anyone have an update on the status and know when all stalls might be up and running again?
Which weren't working? I can check today.
Sweet! Glad they are all back up and providing juice. Not that there's ever a line at this location, which I hope continues to be the case. Thanks for the update.Correct! Charged at ~90kw on the first three stalls. A passerby asked if I knew what I was doing because I kept moving the car between cords, lol.

Gentleman, no intended offense to anyone.
thanks for the heads up!Yes Kingsmill has at least 2 Tesla wall chargers. We have stayed there twice in the last year using it as our base to visit the surrounding attractions. I was always able to top off making sure I did not leave it connected after I got my required charge. During our two weeks there was only one time when I saw someone using the second one. Also, near the golf course they have numerous lower charging stations that other electrics and golf carts use. You only have to use your adapter and it will charge your Tesla.
Currently charging at 25kW at the last stall.Correct! Charged at ~90kw on the first three stalls. A passerby asked if I knew what I was doing because I kept moving the car between cords, lol.
Currently charging at 25kW at the last stall.
Agreed. I charged there yesterday on that exact stall(far left if facing it) and peaked around 106kw on an empty 90D X.How far did you drive before plugging in? A charge rate like that in the winter cold is usually just a cold battery pack.
How busy is this charger on a typical week day between 3 and 5 PM?
Got here ahead of schedule. It's just me and a Model 3. Oh, and another model 3 pulling in as I'm typing this. This isn't the kind of place I'd expect a charger, but it works for me.
