yes, first they are going to build the one with 26 stalls and then the other one across the alley with 30 something stalls.

I live in Santa Monica and hate that this place is turning into a shithole. Let’s put more low income housing into this corner and see how crowded and messed up the City can be. Argggghhh

Passed by today. Pictures are not the greatest, there was this worker that seem to be the one that would chase people who take pics and videos off lol. Plenty of stalls already up, cabinets on site already and bunch of construction workers.

Stopped by today. I have to tell with all the confident: those guys are moving super fast. I was there on Friday and not even one stall was up by the fence. Today all the stalls were up and all closed and wrapped but one that was being finished by two of the electricians. There was one guy working on the transformer and two other guys doing some cable work by the cabinets. I wouldn't be surprised if this section goes live before the end of FEBRUARY.

This is one site that Tesla will not dilly-dally on. They are probably actually in a rush to get it done. SM is a horrible city to do business with, and the shorter amount of time they have to deal with them, them better. They are probably fearful that SM will change the way the game is played half-way through construction. In other words, get the ball snapped before a challenge flag can be thrown.

Sounds like a good reason. But yeah, they are moving fast. At this point, is basically little bit of cable work and concrete kind of.
