Ok, here’s the scoop. And it’s sad.

I asked a connection I have when the transformer was going in for the supercharger.... the utility company has it. It was supposed to be installed mid September. It can’t be installed because Weis scratched the right of way agreement with the utility. So now it is a battle between the lawyers.

Once the legalities are cleared up the utility is ready to set everything and turn it on.

Progress at Bellefonte. The transformer is set. No meter yet. Hopefully that means they are just waiting on inspection. I didn’t have time to look for an inspection sticker.

This is a very good sign. Hopefully by Christmas.

Meter is set now. Didn’t have the Tesla to test it, however the meter still read all 0’s so I don’t think it’s turned on yet. Will test it tomorrow to find out for sure.

Are the stalls lit up or numbered yet? That's usually one of the last things to happen before they go live.

I stopped by at 5:30 today. There was an electrical contractor van there and a guy in a white Tesla X working on his laptop. I asked him if the chargers were in service, he said no but probably tomorrow or Thursday. They are waiting for/working on getting the voltage up. He said it would show up on the UI as soon as it is working. Great news!

Sometimes they are even up and running before they show up in the car. Definitely before they show up on the website.

Tesla finally filled the rt80 gap through PA, one week after my brother moved from Pittsburgh to NJ, eliminating my several times a year NY<> Pittsburgh drive. Perfect timing.
