Strange selection. Not even on the 2017 map. Only 30 miles ether direction to another supercharger. Did the casino owners ask for it? To put it into perspective, there's still a 100 mile gap traveling from NYC to Canada.
I popped down to see friends in lower NY state this weekend. Was blasting up through Syracuse and then over to Buffalo last night in my 75D. With the temperatures around freezing, snow tires on the car, snow on the road, and doing 120 km/hour, I would have liked this location to be open (or better, the Victor, NY station to be open). I did the math and judged I would get about 80% of summertime range, so ignored the rated KM reading in the car, charged to 1.25 x the # of km from Syracuse to Buffalo, plus another 40 km just to be safe. I got not too much past Rochester before the car started panicking and telling me to slow it down. It was probably right too. I dropped to 105 km/hour (the speed limit there) and that calmed the car down for a while, but then it told me to slow down more, so I did (down to 100km/hour). I rolled into Buffalo with about 35 km rated range (which was about what I planned to have), and went to a bar down the plaza from that charger to find out the Patriots were down 28 - 3. (They got up to 28-9 before I left, and shortly after I crossed the border, they had won.)
On the way down to NY this weekend, I actually cut cross country from right around this Waterloo location, heading down to Ithaca. I thought I had enough charge to get to Binghamton, but misjudged, and ended up using the Chargepoint level 2 charger in Ithaca (it's on the BACK of the Enterprise Rental Car building). That blew, because it slowed me down an hour.
Anyway, long story short, another station along this route isn't a bad thing.
