Hi All ! I’m considering a set of sunshade for my Model Y. Does anyone here get Taptes Model Y retractable sunshade? Is it a new upgraded sunshade for Model Y? Please advise!Taptes retractable sunshade for Model Y

Rather funny to read the 8 pages of 5 star reviews on their site... All have similar wording with the common grammar issues of others from a certain country. "Very Good" is used in about 90% of the reviews. I wonder if any of the reviews are actually real buyers.

I agree, the reviews all are in broken English and most likely fake.

Also, this shade (aside from being $500) blocks off a lot of the roof even when it's open.

Well, Hansshow website want to see it for $899. But $150-200 would be a no brainer. Anything above that is way over price.

Well good news then, AliExpress you can get it for around $100. Tempted. I don’t love the OEM Sunshade. Haven’t taken it down since I installed it since it was a PITA to get it right the first time.

You have issues with the OEM one? I can pop that one in or out in about 30 seconds since the clips stay attached to it.

The clips have a tendency to move or pop out so not inclined to think if I took it off and folded it up it wouldn't do the same.

FYi, I guess the one on AliExpress for around $100 doesn't have the frame Taptes has

Interesting, but not $500 interesting. The one piece mesh with magnet is serving me just fine for less than $50.
