Schedule it now. It appears to be a known/common problem, they won't take a chance on an annoyed customer AND a return of the service ranger in a few weeks/months. Do be honest in the service request, though.
IIRC, it took like 2-3 MONTHS before they had the parts available, but that backlog might have been fixed by now.
