Tesla CCS1 Adapter Not working

I took delivery of my MYLR on May 26, and attempted to use a CCS adapter I had ordered off of Amazon at a nearby fast charger but it did not work. I continually received an error from my Tesla app stating that it could not connect to the charger. I tried multiple chargers, and confirmed in the Tesla settings that my car is in fact CCS enabled. Thinking that I had likely received a defective adapter I sent it back and ordered Tesla's CCS1 adapter, but I continued to receive the same error.

I opened a service ticket on my Tesla app describing the problem and received the response in the image below.

Has anyone else had this issue?

I ordered the CCS Combo 1 adapter from Tesla and it works. I wonder if Tesla is blocking non-Tesla CCS adapters.

Um, Tesla says it's a known problem and they're working on it.

I've used mine twice and it worked both times, FWIW.

I have done a test earlier this week with a CCS adapter (Non-Tesla) from amazon. It work fine on a model Y firmware: 2023.12.100

It's a passthrough adapter as far as I know - there's no way for the car to know whether it's genuine or aftermarket.

Did you try rebooting the car? When I first got my ccs adapter it didn’t work, on my second or third location I rebooted the car and bam started working. Since I’ve charged around 30 times from CCS and I believe only had to reboot one other time for it.
