They charged me to deliver the car accidentally and said I would get it back. It’s been 10 weeks. What’s the deal. They just keep saying the case is being worked.

I had an overpayment on sale tax. It took about 2 months to get the money back. It has to go through the corporate offices. You should get your money, it will just take a while.

Stuff like this is just slow, same as non-standard transactions in almost every other massive corporation. Keep at your sales advisor to get it sorted.

TSLA is more bureaucratic than most. Most reps can only do one function. It can take a while but OP will get the refund. Like the IRS, but without interest.

I dunno. My experience is all in tech - companies you’d expect to be automated and streamlined like MSFT and AAPL are a nightmare of bureaucracy, ridiculous (often outsourced) processes and delay as soon as you’re doing anything unusual.
