I am happy Tesla is finding these issues before I get mine. While not a MS/MX, it will still be far more expensive than any car I've bought and the fewer the issues the better.
Probably less FUD being spread on those forums, as well. The forum is a product of it's membership, after all, and unfortunately there are a great deal of players that aren't here to use it as a car forum.
I think parts changes/failures are a better sign for a quick production ramp than a true production line bottleneck. Making a few design and tooling tweaks takes time, but once solved can be ramped immediately. Some unforeseen issue in final assembly, where a process is taking significantly longer or with a high scrap/rework rate could be much trickier to solve.
Failed welds in the pack connecting the cells are unsurprising if they were being hand built. Hopefully those failed welds were done by humans rather than robots, and that the robots will being getting it right...
